The frequency of salon visits per year depends on your pet's breed. Haircutting breeds can be brought in every 2-3 months. The seasonality and frequency of shedding also affects the need for a visit to the salon.

What is the optimum age for regular pet haircuts?

Many animals, especially babies, are often frightened by unfamiliar grooming procedures, so it is best to start as early as possible: right after the vaccination quarantine at about 4-5 months.

Do you use anesthesia?

No! All procedures at the pet salon are performed without anesthesia or any other drugs. We only use love and affection.

The main task of the owner: to tell the master in advance about the peculiarities of the temperament of your pet. Be prepared for the fact that the handyman may ask you to be present or help him with your pet's haircut.

A trip to the salon or the vet is stressful for a pet either way. If you want to combine them, consider: which procedures are planned at the vet, how your pet behaves at appointments, and whether washing and blow-drying might cause irritation combined with the vet procedures. You can always call and consult both the vet and the groomer first.

Can I bring an unvaccinated dog for a haircut?

Annual vaccination is a must! To visit the salon your dog needs all its shots: the health of your pet, the groomer and the surrounding animals depends on it.

How quickly does a cat's fur grow back after a haircut?

Accepted Answer

On average a cat's coat grows back in 2–6 months, sometimes longer. In older animals the coat grows back more slowly.

Can you cut my dog's hair without washing, if we wash it at home?

We perform full treatments strictly with a salon wash. Home washing doesn't replace a professional one: the coat stays unwashed at the base, the haircut looks sloppy, home drying leaves waves and curls, and dirty coat quickly dulls the groomer's tools.

What's the best way to brush dogs' and cats' teeth?

Never brush your pet's teeth with human products — fluoride is not meant for a dog's body. It's best to wipe the teeth with a 0.05% chlorhexidine aqueous solution on gauze or a cotton pad; special dog toothpastes work too.

Please don't be late: the time reserved for your pet's care gets shorter, and extending it is usually impossible — right after you comes another tail-wagging client, no less loved by us, who arrived on time!

The easiest way is your personal account on the site: cancel or reschedule in a couple of clicks. Or give us a call — we'll help. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so the freed slot can go to another client.

We reserve the groomer's time for you, so a no-show temporarily limits online booking. Restoring it is simple: contact us and pay for the missed visit. Cancelling or rescheduling in advance carries no restrictions at all.

On average 1.5–3 hours, depending on the breed, size and chosen services. When booking online we show right away how long your visit will take — the time is calculated for your specific breed.

How do I prepare my pet for its first grooming?

Nothing special is needed: walk your dog before the visit, avoid a heavy meal 2–3 hours before, and arrive a little early so your pet can settle in. Tell the groomer about your pet's temperament — we'll take care of the rest.

Should I feed my pet before grooming?

It's best to feed 2–3 hours before the visit, not right before it: procedures on a full stomach are extra stress for the animal.

What if my pet's coat is matted?

Come over — we'll sort it out! Small mats get brushed out, while heavily matted coat is sometimes kinder to clip: detangling 'live' is painful for the pet. Working with a neglected coat takes longer, so the final price may be higher — the groomer explains everything before starting.

Can a pet come for grooming during heat or pregnancy?

During heat it's better to reschedule: the pet is anxious and the procedure becomes stressful. For pregnant animals we only do gentle hygiene procedures and only after consulting the groomer.

Yes, with extra care: a gentle pace, more breaks, minimum stress. Mention the age and health condition when booking — the groomer will adapt the procedure.

Not every cat needs a haircut, but every cat needs care: long-haired ones mat without brushing, and during shedding season express de-shedding helps — we remove the undercoat, and there's noticeably less fur at home.
