What are brachycephals?
Brachycephals are breeds of dogs with short muzzles and a pronounced bony skull structure. Some of these breeds have short coats that are less of a hassle to deal with. Others have long, constantly growing coats that require special attention and regular professional care.
For a better understanding, here are examples of such breeds: French Bulldog, Pug, Bulldog, Boston Terrier, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Pekinese, Brussels Griffon, Shih Tzu, etc.
Facial features are a major feature in terms of grooming. Because of the specific shape of the skull, folds form on the muzzle, which require daily cleaning as a prevention of bacteria, bad odor, which can lead to irritation and infection.
